April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month! In an effort to promote the awareness and prevention of child abuse and neglect, COCA is one of the sponsors of the Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign along with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Hamilton County's Department of Jobs and Family Services and Hamilton County's Family and Children First Council.
More than 5,000 pinwheels were planted at Burnet Woods Park (corner of Martin Luther King and Clifton Avenue). Each pinwheel represents a report of child abuse received by the county last year.
